Gem Bonus Modification (v1.78+)

Over the years, we've received feedback from numerous players requesting that we improve the in-game currency balance. As you download the v1.78 update, you may notice we've attempted to answer those feedback requests with some recent changes made to the Gem Bonus powerup. With this adjustment, 1) the number of coins needed to fill the Power Meter during runs while the Gem Bonus is equipped has been increased and 2) the option to boost the payout of additional gems from the Gem Bonus has been disabled in the Powerups menu.

  I don't like this one bit.  We now have the Super Fan Club in which some of the players utilized this feature to get the gems that they have and this feature is my favorite power up.  Most of you existing players that have tons of gems get to keep them and for those of us that are building up our gem count, the feature is now disabled.  Doesn't seem quite fair.  If you were to ask me for a vote, I don't like disabling the gem bonus powerup.

  So now you make it that much harder to build up gems.  For those of use playing for years (hit 10 years) every time you make it harder it gets closer to those of us who have supported you for years want to stop playing.  Thank you for your consideration and if not could you explain the reasoning behind this?

  Not at all crazy about this change!  I have to agree with Richard - the more "perks" you take away from us the more us "10 year" players just want to move on to some of the many other apps that don't punish us.  I cannot see where this is an "improvement" to the in game currency balance!  I don't mind the "more coins to fill the power meter" so much but the inability to upgrade really irritates me.
