Why was the Social Leaderboard removed?

Due to changes in Meta’s Policies, we are no longer able to support the social leaderboard feature in Temple Run 2.

What does this mean for me?

With this change, you will no longer be able to share new scores to your Facebook timeline or see the scores of your Facebook friends in the Top Runners ranking. Your new and existing high scores will continue to appear in the Top Runners ranks in the post-game menu as well as in your Stats record.

Why can’t I find the option to log in with my Facebook account?

Due to changes in Meta’s Policies, we are no longer able to support the social leaderboard feature in Temple Run 2. The Facebook option has been removed from the Settings menu in Temple Run 2.

What happens to the game progress that I saved by logging in with my Facebook account?

The purpose of a Facebook login option in Temple Run 2 was used solely to power the Social Leaderboards feature.  Game progress for Temple Run 2 has always been stored locally on the device it is being played on and/or backed up to the iCloud or Google Play account that is signed in on the device.
